Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In five years, I see myself as an elementary school teacher, enjoying a career that I am passionate about and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. I hope to be married or engaged, building a happy life with my family and enjoying all the little moments that come with this stage of life. As a teacher, I hope to incorporate agriculture into my lessons whenever possible, helping students understand where their food comes from and the important role agriculture plays in our everyday lives. I also want to inspire my students to discover what they are passionate about and encourage them to pursue their goals with confidence, just as others have encouraged me throughout my life.

What are your activities, hobbies and interests?

I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, whether that’s shopping, going on late-night drives, or just relaxing together. Music has always been a big part of my life, and I love turning up my favorite songs and singing along in the car. I also enjoy doing nails, being creative, and helping others feel confident and beautiful. In my free time, I love supporting school and community events and staying involved with activities that allow me to connect with others.

Favorite Part of the Fair:

My favorite thing about the fair is the sense of community it creates. While I always look forward to the demo derby and the excitement it brings, I also love seeing the hard work of 4-H and FFA members, supporting local businesses, and watching so many people come together to make the fair a success. The fair has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and it’s a tradition that reminds me what makes Ogle County such a special place.
